I haven't posted for a long time, but here is something newsworthy: It snowed in Rome yesterday! There's about 5" on the ground, which by North Dakota standards isn't much, but the whole city is standing still and will be until it all melts. They don't have any snow removal equipment. I saw a lot of people trying to clear off the side walks in front of their businesses with squeegees and brooms. I think its the most it has snowed here since 1985. In spite of the inconveniences experienced by all, there is a really joyful atmosphere in the city. Nothing like a good layer of snow to bring out the best in people!
